This guide will show you the process of restoring previous versions of a Microsoft Office files.
This guide will show you the process using Microsoft Word; however, the steps are the same for all Microsoft Office applications.
Please note, by restoring, any changes made to the file since the point you are restoring too, will be lost. If you are restoring to an older version but would also like to keep the newer version. We recommend you make a copy before starting this process.
Step 1
Open the file you would like to restore an older version of and go to “File”.

Step 2
On the panel on the left side of the screen, select “Info” and click on the “Version History”.

Step 3
You will then have access to various versions of the file. Once you have found the one you are after, press “Restore”.
