Windows 10 – Wireless Projection

This guide will show you the process of connecting to the new wireless display adapters across the school.

Step 1

Please ensure the projector has been turned on first. Then press and hold the “windows” button on your laptop keyboard and then press the letter “P”.  This will open the projector settings, at the bottom there should be an option to “Connect to a wireless display”.

Step 2

The system will automatically search for nearby display adapters, please connect to the adapter of the classroom that you are in.

Step 3

You should be prompted to enter a PIN and this will be displayed on the projector screen for you to enter in on your laptop.

Step 4

You should now be successfully connected to the wireless display adapter (audio will also work without any additional cables too).  Please remember to press “disconnect” at the top of your laptop screen before you leave the classroom.
