Wi-Fi – Connecting to Campus_Guest

This guide will show you the process of connecting to the Campus_Guest Wi-Fi network across the Nene Valley Partnership.

Please note, whilst this guide uses Windows 10 as its example. The guidance remains the same for all types of devices and software.

Who can use Campus_Guest?

Campus_Guest has minimal filtering and as such is aimed for visitors/guests only. This is to provide minimal disruption and allow them to access resources otherwise unavailable whilst onsite.

MAC Address

Before connecting to the Campus_Guest, please follow the guide below on turning off MAC randomisation. This will allow you to use a long-term guest access code, without your device being forgotten.

Step 1

On your personal device, open Wi-Fi settings and press “Connect” on Campus_Guest.

Step 2

Type in the 10-digit access code and press “Login”.

Access codes for each school, can be requested from that schools Reception/Office team.

Step 3

You have now connected to the Campus_Guest Wi-Fi network.
